Wuhan Textile University President Scholarship is established by Wuhan Textile University (WTU) and is under the administration of International Office of WTU. The scholarship grantees study for their Master’s degree. 50 students will be granteed in 2015.

COVERAGE OF SCHOLARSHIP

Tuition Fee: 20000-25000RMB pear year per person

Application Fee: 400 RMB

Accommodation Fee£ºAn apartment shared by two person with necessary furniture, electric appliance such as air-conditioner and water heater. (The expense of water, electricity and internet is excluded) Rent: 2400RMB per year per person.

Physical Examination and Residence Permit Application Fee: 1000-1200RMB per person

Comprehensive Medical Insurance Fee: 600-800 per year per person

International Traveling Expenses

Living Expenses: 1000-1200RMB per month per person

Notes: Average dining cost on campus canteen is around 600-800RMB per month per person

CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY

1. Applicants must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.

2. Applicants must graduate from such majors as Fashion Design and Engineering, Textile Science and Engineering,Dyeing and Finishing,Business Management,Accounting or other relevant.

3. Applicants must have a good command of English language or Chinese language.

EXAMINATION & ENROLLMENT 

The applicants must take part in the relevant major and language examination £¨written test & interview£©organized by the WTU Academic Committee. Base on the examination results and comprehensive quality evaluation, those applicants who are best qualified would be admitted by the WTU International Students Recruitment Office.

3. Passport (photocopy)

4. Notarized academic transcripts (photocopy)

5. A study plan or research proposal (a minimum of 400 words)

6. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy)

Applicants should send electronic application documents to the Email address of International Office of WTU, and mail the application documents to the address of International Office of WTU before 20 June, 2015. No application documents will be returned.

APPROVAL & NOTIFICATION

The name list of Wuhan Textile University President Scholarship awardees will be published on International office’s website during June to July, 2015. Admission Notice and Visa Application Form will be sent to scholarship awardees by international office of WTU. Scholarship awardees will start their study at Wuhan Textile University on October 20th, 2015.
